Do you find it difficult to travel due to a disability, illness or old age? If so, there are various options for arranging transport – for example, to see your GP, go to hospital, visit family, attend activities or go to the supermarket.
What options are available?
ANWB Pay Station
ANWB AutoMaatje connects residents with limited mobility with volunteers who drive them in their own cars. You can use this service for medical appointments, as well as for social activities or shopping.
To use the ANWB AutoMaatje service, you need to register with the ANWB AutoMaatje service point in the municipality where you live. This local service point handles all communication and finds the right driver when you request a journey. You can find the contact details of your nearest service point here.
Wmo transport (regional taxi)
Do you need a wheelchair taxi, a taxi for people with disabilities or other adapted transport? If so, you may be eligible for Wmo transport. This is a door-to-door service and can often be used if you are travelling with a wheelchair or other mobility aid.
