Physician Trainee Specialist (AIOS)
We believe it is important to train new GPs. That way, together, we ensure good GP care, now and in the future. That is why our practice is a training practice. This means that a doctor in training to become a family doctor (AIOS) regularly works with us.
An AIOS is a graduate doctor who further specialises as a general practitioner. So it is no longer a student, but a doctor with a diploma. The AIOS sees patients independently and conducts his or her own consultations. This is always done under the supervision of an experienced GP. All consultations are discussed afterwards, so you can count on careful and safe care.
When you make an appointment, you may be scheduled with the AIOS. The care you receive is of the same quality as with your own GP. Should you prefer an appointment with your regular GP, you can indicate this to the doctor's assistant.
During training, a consultation may be recorded for training purposes. This is done only with your consent. The recordings are used only for training purposes and deleted after discussion.
